finally
guess what? i had my ear pierced today. it's actually a second piercing on my left ear. i'd love to post a picture of it but too bad the cam's not here. anyway, donna and i have been planning this for months and we swore that we'd get it this march. and now we finally did! i reeeally love it!
but the piercing part, was really painful. a sharp pain followed by numbness and a seemingly swollen head. you could practically feel the piece of metal go through the thin layer of cartilage on your ear lobe. but the pain's tolerable, especially when you have experienced being injected with distilled water intramuscularly and intradermally all in one day.
the sales person who got us pierced said it would be ok by 2 to 3 weeks. and everyday i'd have to clean it with baby oil or something. i'm not really sure bout the care instructions. maybe i'll call donna. for now, i have to take extra care with everything i do just so as not to touch it. and god knows how careless i can get!
yeah so, i thought my mom would go ballistic when she finds out, but surprise, surprise, she didn't. well, there were a few questions but wth, i guess she figured she can't do anything about it. :P

and i just finished watching romeo and juliet. the one which starred leonardo di caprio (that bisexual guy) and kate winslet. no wait... that's titanic. haha. i mean, that girl, what's her name again? oh yeah. claire danes. everytime i hear her name, i imagine her seeing all those rodents she allegedly saw when she came to the philippines. awww... poor dear. she must have had the shock of her life.
so anyway... i hate shakespeare! and i think romeo and juliet (the novel) is so stupid. but it's an effective tragedy nonetheless. i just don't get why romeo and juliet had to kiss so much. and i don't get why (god why!) had they not thought of mobile phones? haha. period movies suck. :P
